My cat and I both love this fountain. I wouldn’t change a thing, seriously. Even though it’s plastic, my cat has not developed acne. I clean it and change the filter every two weeks. No slime build up which is so important. Easy to clean. Wish I knew which sponge filters fit so I can buy replacements. I bought two. Motor is strong and hasn’t shown any signs of weakening.
Does Not Leak, clear Light Level, Fit my needs, very Durable, has variable Water flow,
I bought for my bird to take baths in and and he loves it, k like the fact that it’s clear. Also I had issues with the water pump/filter and their costumer service is great, they immediately addressed the issue and sent me a new water pump, never had issues again so I’m happy with my purchase and Manguito is Happier with his baths.

I'm now on my 2nd fountain, but that's due to user error. It's definitely not dishwasher safe lol, but it's easy to take apart and clean by hand. My cats love the different options and the "bowl" portion is deep enough for my dog to drink from as well. It's a bit heavy when full, but it holds a good amount of water and is very sturdy. I do enjoy that the new motor has a light to tell you when it's low and will stop running when there's not enough water.By far my favorite fountain I've tried.
