PetNF Coop Heating Guide

Radiant warmth for the resting zone inside an enclosed coop

Choose PF093 or PF143 by control style, placement and the conditions inside the coop. These panels provide localized radiant warmth—they are not room heaters designed to heat all the air in an entire coop.

Compare Control & Placement

Three control choices, one important operating boundary

Use these heaters in an enclosed, insulated coop with drafts reduced as much as practical. Panel-surface temperature is not the same as coop air temperature.

Localized radiant heat: Real performance depends on ambient temperature, insulation, drafts, mounting position and how far the animals rest from the panel. Do not select a model by wattage alone.

Upright floor installation

Install the supplied feet and place the heater upright on a stable surface. Fully open PF143 to 180° before installing its feet. Position it where animals cannot tip it over.

Wall mounting

Use the supplied mounting hardware and follow the model manual. Keep the front of the heating panel unobstructed. Do not cover the panel or install it in water or a wet area.

Animal-use scope: Designed for chickens, chicks and similarly managed small animals such as ducks or rabbits that need a localized warm resting zone. This collection is not presented for cats or reptiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Five answers before choosing and installing

Will a radiant chicken coop heater warm all the air inside the coop?

No. Its primary purpose is to provide localized radiant warmth to animals and the resting zone nearest the panel. It is not a room heater designed to raise the air temperature throughout an entire coop.

What is the difference between PF093 and PF143?

PF093 is a 140W model with rotary power adjustment. PF143 is a 180W foldable panel with three panel-surface temperature levels and a 0–24-hour timer, available with infrared remote control or WiFi/app control.

Are the PF143 temperature levels the coop air temperature?

No. They are panel-surface temperature ranges. Coop air temperature and the warmth animals experience also depend on ambient temperature, insulation, drafts, distance and installation position.

Does the PF143 WiFi model work with a 5GHz-only network?

No. The WiFi model connects to a 2.4GHz WiFi network only. If a router combines both bands, make sure the 2.4GHz band is enabled during pairing.

Can the heater be covered or installed in a wet area?

No. Keep the heater, plug and electrical connections dry. Do not cover or block the front of the panel. Stop using the product if the panel, cord or electrical parts are damaged.
