Protected cords

The classic pad lists an SJTW outdoor-rated cord with steel sleeve; D2607 lists a steel bite guard. Cord construction varies by model. No cord is chew-proof.

Moisture matters

D2607 and D2608 are described with waterproof bottoms. This does not make the complete electrical product waterproof. Keep controllers, plugs and connections dry.

Gentle warmth

Choose a comfortable resting temperature rather than the strongest heat. Follow the selected model's setup and care instructions.
