A PetNF radiant chicken coop heater provides localized warmth near the panel. It is not designed to heat all the air in a coop or work like a room heater.
Before you buy
This is a chicken-coop heating panel, not a cat heater or reptile heater. Check the product instructions for operating conditions and installation requirements. Do not assume the panel, controller, plug and cord share the same moisture protection.
Will it heat the whole coop?
No. Radiant heat is intended for the area close to the panel. Insulation, drafts, placement and surrounding conditions all affect the warmth your chickens receive.
Can the panel lie flat?
Install it upright on its supports or fixed to a wall, following the supplied instructions. Do not use it as a heated floor mat.
